Welcome to the new Gropp Automotive Specialties website.  You will note many changes to the site, including fewer products offered over the web.  Our main products are on here, and at shows we will continue to vend more products, but I simply can’t return 5 phone calls every day asking about a steering knuckle when I have 5 other calls to purchase engines.  If you are an existing engine customer and are looking for a certain item, ask.  I will probably still have it on my truck and can sell it to you.

As many of you have noted, I have tried to stay hidden for the past couple of years because 1) I still have more orders than I can fill; 2) I have been focusing on new research and design; and 3) I simply don’t want every 15 year old kid kicking tires about buying an engine because they saw my website and called. 

However, recently I’ve been sickened by what has become of the level of knowledge in the sport.  At Metal Mayhem in 2011, somebody came up, looked at my distributor protector, and said, “it looks like a copy of a _____ protector”.  Really?  I invented the damn thing, researched it, and then it was copied by a bunch of hacks.  I really can’t take much more of the ignorance out there.  So I’ll let my website educate those who have missed out on the sport’s history.  People have stopped thinking for themselves, and have become suckered into products with no thought about the future.
